In 1969, John Dain and Bill Murphy bought a company called, Screen-it. Operating from a one bedroomed flat with very basic machinery, a small silkscreen printing business was born. The next 10 years saw Screen-it involved in screen printing, sign making, and self adhesive labels.
Seeing a growth in screen printing, the decision was made to concentrate on this aspect with the merging of a company called Screenfast Pty Ltd.
Mark Dain joined his father in 1990 therefore ensuring a family commitment. 1993 saw the purchase of the factory and land where Screenfast stands today. Gavin Belcher joined in 1999, taking the place of Tim Bellamy. With a continuous and strong growth, 2002 saw in the third partner Greg Baverstock.
In 2006 Gavin Belcher departed and Mark Dain and Greg Baverstock took full ownership of Screenfast.
